Jason Shah opens up about Salman Khan’s tardiness

Jason Shah recently recollected working with Salman Khan in the 2007 film Partner.

Actor Jason Shah, who’s basking in the success of his recently released series Heeramandi, recalled working with Salman Khan in Partner. The actor shared that Salman Khan’s tardiness on sets looked like a ‘relaxed life’ to him. He opened up about his small scene in the song ‘Dupatta Tera Nau Rang Da’ in Partner, where the acting bug bit him.

In an interview with Entertainment LIVE, Jason looked back on his journey in the film industry and shared, “I started modeling when I was 17–18. I did a small scene in the song ‘Dupatta Tera Nau Rang Da’ in Partner. That’s where I was bitten by the acting bug. I wanted to live this amazing life.”

He further added, “Salman Khan aaya 3 baje dopahar mein apni motorbike pe, koi kuch kaam nahi kar raha, 4:30 baj raha hai, producer khada hai bol raha hai, ‘Sir, ek shot lelo’ (Salman Khan would arrive on set at 3 in the afternoon on his motorbike, nobody would do any work. At 4:30, the producer would request with folded hands that he do just one shot. I loved it. It looked like a relaxed life.”

Coming back to Jason Shah, he impressed everyone with his strong supporting performance in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. Shah played the role of a British cop named Cartwright. While his power-packed performance has been getting praise from the audience, it has now been reported that the actor has been approached for Bigg Boss OTT 3.

Interestingly, if Jason accepts this offer, this will be the second time that he will be seen in Bigg Boss. He was also seen in the 10th season of the reality show as a wild card contestant. Jason Shah made a memorable mark during his time on Bigg Boss 10 but had to leave the show due to health issues.

Meanwhile, Jason Shah’s Heeramandi also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal Mehta, Farida Jalal, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman in key roles. It explores the various aspects of a woman’s trials and tribulations.
