Renowned film director Subhash Ghai celebrated his 78th birthday on Monday in Mumbai. Her daughter Meghna Ghai Puri hosted a star-studded birthday bash which was attended by industry honchos and was showered with lots of love and affection. Among those present was Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. Today Subhash Ghai posted a picture on his Instagram account and wrote a lovely note to thank Salman Khan To wish ‘Happy Birthday to each and every member of the family with love’ at their home. The photo shows the director holding Salman’s face in his hands.
The note read, ‘Dear Salman, God bless you, for the pleasant surprise of coming home to wish me a happy birthday with so much love and wishing each and every member of the family with such pure love. Proud of you for being such a good person. Keep flying be happy!”

Salman Khan may have arrived a little late to the party but he made sure he made the birthday boy feel special. As a sweet gesture, they organized a cake cutting ceremony in front of paparazzi and also fed cake to Subhash Ghai. Subhash’s wife Mukta and daughter Meghna Ghai Puri were right next to the director.

Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha also captured some beautiful moments from the evening, including a family photo, a candid picture with Shatrughan Sinha and the director feeding him a piece of cake.
