Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s film, dubbed as NTR 30, was launched in all its glory.
RRR director SS Rajamouli launched Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer NTR 30 in Hyderabad.
Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has reportedly been approached for Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film, dubbed as NTR 30. Saif was apparently offered the role of an antagonist in NTR 30.
However, a report in India Today.co.in suggests that Saif Ali Khan has declined the offer. Interestingly, Saif will be seen as one of the antagonists in Prabhas starrer Adipurush, which is slated to release in June. Apart from this, he played a negative role in Ajay Devgan starrer Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior.
As per the report, no reason has been given for his decision, but there is speculation that he “doesn’t want to sign a south film at the moment”.
Meanwhile, Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s film, tentatively titled NTR 30, was launched in all its glory last month. The film, which marks Taarak’s first collaboration with Jhanvi Kapoor And the actress’s first Telugu film, was launched by Taarak’s friend and acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli. RRR director KGF 2 director Prashant Neel attended the event. The team also came together for a special puja.
NTR 30 director Koratala Siva, who is reuniting with Taarak for the film, addressed the media gathered for the event. “The film is set in the forgotten coastal land of India. It’s a very emotional story about how we live in a world where there are more monsters than humans.” Music director Anirudh and the producers were also present at the event.
Janhvi had recently opened up about the project. At the India Today Conclave, Janhvi said, “Literally counting the days (to shoot the film). I message the director (Kortala Siva) every day. Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I re-watched RRR recently. He has so much charisma. To be able to share screen space with him will be one of the greatest joys of my life. He said that he ‘manifested’ the project.
