Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan once again set couple goals as they engaged in a conversation with the media on Wednesday. When asked if Kareena plays cricket, though she seemed unsure, Saif proudly declared her as a Pataudi. Saif’s father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was India’s former cricket captain, and Saif himself has played cricket in the past. Interestingly, Mansoor Ali Khan became captain at just 21, leading in 40 out of 46 tests despite losing vision in one eye due to a car crash. He is remembered for leading India to their first away series win in tests and was honoured as Wisden Cricketer of the Year. When asked if Kareena has ever tried holding a bat, Saif quickly responded, “Of course, she’s a Pataudi.”
To this Kareena smiled and said, “I have tried but I am not a great player. I think I didn’t hit the ball”. Saif interjected and said, “I think she did hit the ball”.
Kareena joked that she’s more of a spectator, saying, playing and watching are two different things. “Khelne mein aur dekhne ka maza alag-alag hota hai. Main audience hoon to Saif can be the player (The fun in playing and being a spectator is different. So, I am the audience and Saif can be the player).”

Only recently, Saif Ali Khan was spotted at a sporting event with Sachin Tendulkar. Saif looked dapper as always in a tailored blue blazer paired with a crisp white shirt and beige pants. Sachin looked smart in a printed shirt. In a video that went viral on the internet, the duo could be seen chatting on the sets. They could be seen animatedly talking about bowling skills.
