Sacked Health Minister’s court appearance: Singla, former AAP minister lodged in Ropar jail; 1% commission was sought for every work including tender

Dr. Vijay Singla was sent to jail on 14 days remand by the court.

Dr. Vijay Singla, the dismissed Health Minister of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab, is to appear in the court today. Singla was sacked by CM Bhagwant Mann. Singla had asked for a tender in the health department and 1% commission for every other work. Its complaint reached the CM and he got it sting done. In this, Minister Singla confessed his corruption. After this Mann expelled him from the cabinet.

Rajinder Singh said that the minister asked him for commission in lieu of payment of 54 crores. Called them repeatedly and harassed them.
