The trailer of MX Player’s upcoming web series Sabka Sai is out. The trailer shows how people were largely skeptical about Sai Baba, but he slowly conquered them with his message of humanity.
As per the trailer, the show will tell about his journey from youth to old age and bringing people of different religions and classes together.
The 10-episode series stars Raj Arun in the lead role. Talking about the MX Player series, he said, “I consider myself lucky to play such an esteemed character. I think it’s one of the most unique roles I’ve ever played. His teachings are relevant even in today’s era and will bring to the fore many layers of Sabka Sai Baba’s life and being a part of this journey is a once in a lifetime experience.
The show also stars Gulki Joshi, Mohammad Samad, Akash Sinha, Manoj Kolhatkar.
Director Ajit Bhairavkar said in a statement, “In this series, we have tried to portray Sai Baba as more human than the God who is now worshiped along with real-life challenges. We have tried to bring alive his progressive thoughts, his compassion for all mankind and his lesser known stories in this narrative. The show also tries to understand the phenomenon of his huge followers from people of all religions.”
Sabka Sai will start streaming on MX Player from August 26. Apart from Hindi, the show will also be available in Tamil and Telugu.
