When they welcomed their first child in 2016, their name Taimur became a hot topic of debate and now, the name of their second born, Jehangir Ali Khan has caught the attention of netizens and trolls. Meanwhile, Saif’s sister Saba Ali Khan took to Instagram to support Kareena’s decision of naming her children. On Instagram, she shared a picture of Bebo with Jeh from their Maldives trip and wrote that only the parents of a child are allowed to decide the name of the child.

They courted controversy in 2016 for naming their first child after an invader. Timur was reportedly inspired by Timur, the founder of the Timur Empire in Persia and Central Asia, who invaded India in 1398. However, he refuted all the claims and claimed that Taimur means iron.
