Deadpool and Wolverine’s runtime surfaced on AMC Theatres’ website ahead of its July 26 release, but Marvel Studios has yet to confirm it officially.
Superhero fans are eagerly anticipating the on-screen collaboration of Deadpool and Wolverine, portrayed by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman respectively. This marks the debut of the Merc with a Mouth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Logan.
Other than their bromance, fans are curious about the extended cast. The film has been reported to include one of the largest casts in MCU history, including Avengers, past X-Men and even Taylor Swift. With such a massive lineup, the film is expected to be lengthy and going by the reports, the rumoured runtime of the threequel is 127 minutes or 2 hours and 7 minutes. Although this runtime surfaced on AMC Theatres’ website ahead of its release on July 26, Marvel Studios has yet to confirm it officially.
If the rumoured duration holds true, the upcoming MCU project will become the longest film in the Deadpool franchise. Reportedly, part 1 had a runtime of 1 hour, 48 minutes and the second instalment was 1 hour, 59 minutes long. However, this runtime is still shorter than other MCU films. As of now, Avengers: Endgame holds the record for being the longest Marvel movie at 3 hours and 1 minute. Following that, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has a runtime of 2 hours and 41 minutes, Eternals is 2 hours and 36 minutes long, and both Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Avengers: Infinity War have a runtime of 2 hours and 29 minutes each.
However, an X (formerly known as Twitter) page, known for accurately leaking movie runtimes in the past, recently dismissed the duration listed on AMC Theatres’ website. The user stated that the given duration is for a test screening and it’s expected that the final cut of the movie will be longer.
The note read, “2 hours 7 minutes is not what I heard tbh (that’s literally one of the test screening runtimes) I strongly believe AMC might make another update at some point. They do put placeholders near finalisation so I’ll wait a little longer.”

Meanwhile, talking about cameos in Deadpool and Wolverine, Karan Soni who plays Dopinder, earlier told Variety, “This new MCU version is ultra-secretive. There are a lot of surprises. Let’s just say a lot of people travelled to London. When we were making the second one, Ryan was plotting back then. I remember him spilling that at lunch one day that he had started a conversation with Hugh. I remember saying, ‘People are going to flip out.’ Then the studio got sold to Disney and a lot of other stuff happened.”
