Russian shelling in Ukraine’s Okhtyrka kills 6, including 7-year-old girl

Six people, including a seven-year-old girl, died in heavy Russian shelling in Okhtyrka, a small city in Sumy Oblast in northeastern Ukraine, on Sunday. The development was confirmed by the governor, Dmitry Zhivitsky, according to the local media organisation, The Kyiv Independent.

Okhtyrka is located 345 kilometers from Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.

On the fourth day since Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine, Russian forces continued to attack military bases and different cities in Ukraine.
