On the 21st day of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the tension between the two countries remains. The leaders of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia traveled to Kyiv on Tuesday by train to show support for Ukraine despite the potential risks of traveling in a war zone. Slovenia’s Janez Jansa saw the visit as a way to send the message that Ukraine is a European country that deserves to one day be accepted into the European Union.
