The Russia-Ukraine talks are underway at the Belarus border. Among the delegates is Ukraine Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov. Ukraine had earlier refused to hold talks near Belarus, as Russian troops are stationed near its border.
This is the first meeting between the two sides ever since Russia declared war on Ukraine on February 24. Ever since, the Russian forces have been launching strikes on military bases and other places across Ukraine. Russian troops are also attempting to make their way to the capital city of Kyiv.
