A Russian court fined Google 3 million rubles ($38,600) on Thursday for failing to remove content about Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, Interfax news agency reported.
Over the past year, Moscow has slapped dozens of fines against Western tech companies under new censorship laws passed shortly after sending thousands of troops to Ukraine in February 2022.
