Rukhman Saran of Barmer made big, got a package of Rs 14 lakh in Coal India

Jat ka Kuan, a small village in the Barmer district of Rajasthan, is known today in almost every nook and corner of India. The reason for the popularity of this village is a young native, Rukhman Saran, who did not let poverty hinder his dreams. The man secured a huge position in Coal India Company on an annual package of Rs 14 lakhs.

The journey to this position has never been easy for Rukhman. Including him there are total six boys in the house. Rukhman was from a farming family, and it was difficult to arrange resources for the 6 children, due to which the other five brothers could not study beyond Class 2. However, Rukhman had an undying passion for studies. He was determined to study hard and make his village and family proud of him.

He pursued his education with a single-mindedness, despite the adversity. He had his primary education in the village. After that he completed his education till 12th by staying in the Kisan Hostel located at the district headquarters.

He then completed his graduation in engineering from Engineering College Jodhpur (Mining Branch) in 2020. After that he worked for the Vedanta group for some time. In 2021, he decided to take the GATE 2021 exam conducted by IIT Mumbai. Due to his tireless efforts and determination, he secured All India 68 rank in this examination. Due to this excellent rank, Rukhman got the post of Management Trainee in Coal India Limited.

According to Rukhman, the credit for his success goes to his belief in himself and his self-study. His passion to do something different made him stand out from the crowd. Rukhman says that he is the only student of the village who has achieved this position in the field of science.
