Noida: Five people have been arrested after a video of a ruckus outside a police post in Noida went viral on social media. In the video, the five can be seen playing loud music and dancing over their two cars parked outside the Sorakha police post. The special thing is that there was not a single policeman to stop them.
“The video came to our notice on Tuesday morning. The Surkha police post seen in the video is currently not functioning as repair work is going on. By noon, we have nabbed the five accused,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Ranvijay Singh said.
The accused have been identified as Ajit Kumar, residents of Rajnagar Extension in Ghaziabad, Amrit Raj of Mandawali area of ​​Delhi, Gaurav Dutta and Mayank of Crossing Republic of Ghaziabad. Sunil OjhaBoth are residents of Sector 75 of Noida.
“During interrogation, they told us that they were celebrating Mayank’s new job in a bank,” Singh said. Sharad KantSHO of Sector 113 police station said that the accused have been arrested under section 151 (prevention of cognizable offence) of CrPC and both the cars have been seized.
However, residents of Noida say that it is a daily affair in the city. “After dark, go to any market and you will find people sitting in their cars and drinking,” said Brajesh Sharma Member of 7X Welfare Team.
