There was a ruckus on the second day of the budget session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. When CM Bhagwant Mann stood up to speak, Congress MLAs started making noise. Hearing this, Congress MLAs staged a walkout. Coming out, opposition party leader Pratap Bajwa said that CM Bhagwant Mann had to go to Kullu Manali. Therefore, the proceedings of the House were quickly ended. The business of the assembly was scheduled to be till 2 o’clock. We were also assured by the speaker yesterday. Despite this we were not allowed to speak today.

CM Bhagwant Mann also took a jibe at the Congress walkout that Congress does not have the ability to listen. This was followed by the address of CM Bhagwant Mann. After which the proceedings of the House have been postponed till Monday.

Budget to be presented on 27th
The budget session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly will continue till June 30. On June 27, the AAP government of Punjab will present its first budget. Finance Minister Harpal Cheema will present the paperless budget. The government claims that this time the budget of Punjab has been prepared with the advice of the people.
