There was a ruckus on the second day of the budget session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. When CM Bhagwant Mann stood up to speak, Congress MLAs started making noise. He said that we are not being given full opportunity to speak. On which Speaker Kultar Sandhwan said that the fixed time has been given.

Hearing this, Congress MLAs staged a walkout. Coming out, opposition party leader Pratap Bajwa said that CM Bhagwant Mann had to go to Kullu Manali. Therefore, the proceedings of the House were quickly ended. The business of the assembly was scheduled to be till 2 o’clock. We were also assured by the speaker yesterday. Despite this we were not allowed to speak today.

CM Bhagwant Mann also took a jibe at the Congress walkout that Congress does not have the ability to listen. This was followed by the address of CM Bhagwant Mann. After which the proceedings of the House have been postponed till Monday.

Debate on illegal mining

Initially, Mining Minister Harjot Bains told that at present the average rate of sand in the market is Rs 26 to 28 and that of gravel is Rs 29 to 30. From 16 March to 22 June 2022, 30 crore 8 lakh income has been generated. He said that according to the policy of the previous government, 7 blocks were given, out of which 3 are also closed. 277 cases have been registered against illegal miners. The Mining Minister said that the previous government had said a foot rate of Rs.5 and a half but did not get it.

AAP MLA Aman Arora said that former CM Captain Amarinder Singh had said in the House that he has a 10-page list containing the names of those who took sand pits. I don’t want to take his name. Budget to be presented on 27th
The budget session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly will continue till June 30. On June 27, the AAP government of Punjab will present its first budget. Finance Minister Harpal Cheema will present the paperless budget. The government claims that this time the budget of Punjab has been prepared with the advice of the people.

The Aam Aadmi Party government will also bring a white paper on the economic condition of Punjab in the assembly. Through which the opponents will be surrounded. CM Bhagwant Mann said that who looted the treasury of Punjab, will reveal it. Every paisa of Punjabis will be taken into account.
