new Delhi: Popular television actress Rubina Dilaik is all set to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Ardh’. The film not only marks Rubina’s debut, but also the directorial debut of composer Palash Muchhal.
Rubina is playing the character of Madhu in the film. Sharing her first look poster on Instagram, the actress wrote, “Oh my beautiful people, what can be a better day than Mahashivratri that I present my first form as ‘Madhu’ from Ardh!…..Har Har Mahadev.”
In the poster, Rubina can be seen in the avatar of a simple Indian married woman, dressed in a sari and adorned with bangles, mangalsutra and vermilion. The poster also shows the landscape of Mumbai in the background.

Earlier, the makers released the first look poster of Rajpal Yadav, who plays a transgender character in the film. Dressed in a sari and with long hair, Rajpal Yadav looks promising.
The film also stars actors Hiten Tejwani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. ‘Ardh’ will have an OTT release.
Rubina Dilaik is known for her roles in television serials ‘Chhoti Bahu’ and ‘Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’. She also participated in the television reality show ‘Bigg Boss 14’ and became the winner. Rubina, who is married to actor Abhinav Shukla, will also be seen in a travel series with her husband. This series named ‘Wunderlust’ will be streamed on OTT platform MX Player.
He shared the trailer on his Instagram, giving a glimpse of the couple’s love for travel and good food.
