RSS worker murdered in Kerala: Goons stab Srinivasan 20 times with sword at shop, daylight murder in central area of ​​Palakkad city

A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker was murdered in broad daylight in Kerala. RSS worker Srinivasan (45) was attacked with swords and knives by a gang of goons on Saturday afternoon while he was sitting at his shop in Melamuri area in the heart of Palakkad city. According to an eyewitness, the goons stabbed Srinivasan with a sword at least 20 times and fled only after the death was confirmed.

Subair (43), a local leader of the Popular Front of India (PFI), was murdered in a nearby village on Friday. It is believed that the Hindu activist has been targeted within 24 hours to avenge Subair’s murder. BJP leaders have also alleged this.

They attacked Srinivasan by entering his shop. Despite being the main area of ​​the city, no one dared to stop the goons. After the goons fled, people took Srinivasan to a nearby hospital, but he was declared brought dead there.

BJP state president said 23 nationalists were killed under the rule of the current CM.
BJP leaders have called Srinivasan’s murder a political murder. He has accused PFI workers of murder. BJP state president K. Surendran tweeted Srinivasan’s photo and wrote that the RSS pracharak has been killed by Popular Front goons. He alleged that during the previous and current tenure of the incumbent Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, 23 people belonging to nationalist organizations have been killed by Left-Jihadi terrorist organizations.

Another BJP leader Krishnakumar has also blamed the attack on the workers of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) affiliated to the PFI. He said that the police have not yet termed the killing of SDPI-affiliated Subair as political murder, but SDPI had declared violent revenge and this murder is the result of this.

Subair was murdered while returning from the mosque
SDPI leader Subair was killed on Friday afternoon in Elappulli, a village close to Palakkad, when he was returning home on a bike after offering prayers at the mosque. After hitting Subair’s bike with a car, 5 people who got down from it killed him. Subair was also the area secretary of PFI. SDPI had accused BJP of his death, but BJP district president KM Haridas had denied these allegations.

An RSS worker was murdered in Palakkad district in November 2021 as well. RSS pracharak Sanjeet was also murdered just like Subair after hitting his bike with a car. Since both the murders are similar, it is believed that Subair was killed to avenge the murder of Sanjeet. Now with the murder of Srinivasan to avenge Subair’s murder, it is believed that many more political murders will be seen in Palakkad.
