The NHRC had registered a case on November 29, 2018 based on a complaint in the matter. Besides the commission, the trial court at Saket, New Delhi had also recommended compensation to the victims on merits.
“The commission has also been informed that the registration of the NGO running the Muzaffarpur Balika Grih was canceled and the premises housing was also demolished in compliance with the orders of the court.
