RRR Trailer Launch: Ram Charan and Jr NTR wow fans with their mind-blowing physical transformation

Set in the 1920s, SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited magnum opus RRR draws inspiration from the lives of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. Rajamouli, known for his historical plays, seeks to portray a fictional story outside the realm of the revolutionary pair’s contribution to leading rebellions against Daman.

RRR explores a brief fictional timeline where the lives of two real-life heroes probably overlap. The film has a stellar cast with Jr NTR and Ram Charan taking the lead in bringing the characters to life. Jr NTR’s role as Tattva, Jal and Ram Charan’s role feature Agni.

A few days back, the makers of the film released new posters of Ram Charan as Alluri Sitarama Raju and Jr NTR’s Komaram Bheem. The jaw-dropping, fiery look of both the stars is flaunting their own.

Talking about Ram Charan, his torn physique might not be surprising as he has been associated with fitness for a long time. However, his overall effect in his character’s skin is undeniable. The South star, who has previously worked with Rajamouli in the blockbuster Magadheera, looks menacing in the poster with a bare chest roaring. From archery to horse riding, the actor has taken disciplined training to impress his fans as Alluri.

When it comes to Taarak aka Jr NTR, the physical transformation is definitely alluring. The actor left himself behind as he turned on the beast mode with a buffed-up figure.

For someone like Jr NTR, who doesn’t have the reputation of having the quintessential ‘filmy’ body, he is truly amazing in RRR. A while back, in his show, Evaru Milo Koteswarulu Jr NTR recalled being body shamed. He spoke openly about his weight issues when people called him unattractive. Now, he has clearly surpassed those days with his grit, strength and determination. The result of which is clearly visible in his fiercely wild look for RRR.

Both Jr NTR and Ram Charan have garnered praise for their screen chemistry, especially after their catchy dance number Naatu Naatu went viral.

RRR also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody. The big budget period action drama is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 7, 2022.
