Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela got married in June 2012 after dating for a few years.
On the occasion of Valentines Day, social media platform Letterboxd released a candid interview with Ram Charan, in which the star responded to several comments by his fans.
Currently riding high on international fame, Ram Charan’s power-packed performance in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR catapulted him onto the global pedestal. RRR was not only a roaring success at the box office but also made India Proud with many international accolades.
On the occasion of Valentines Day, social media platform Letterboxd released a candid interview with Ram Charan, in which the star responded to several comments by his fans. In the brief conversation, Ram Charan responded to comments ranging from compliments on his physical appearance to naming his crush. After Ram Charan asked him to comment on his fans calling him a “snack”, the star laughed it off and claimed that his wife Upasana Kamineni must hear it. Not only this, but the Acharya actor also revealed the names of his crushes.
The now-viral video begins with the host asking the actor how he would react to a fan saying, “Ram Charan af*****ji snack hai.” Ram laughed heartily and said, “Wow! I want my wife to hear this. Dear! I think he would be very proud. Following this, the actor was asked who he was like when he was growing up. Responding to the same, Ram Charan named two Hollywood stars Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Ram said, “I don’t know whether I was obsessed or not, but whenever I saw Julia Roberts, I was really attracted to the screen and the film. I would be locked into TV or the big screen. Had something so charming and so unconventional. I’ve been a huge fan of hers since Pretty Woman. Ah! Catherine Zeta-Jones… Oh my god. How could I forget her? Mark of Zorro one of my first films I enjoyed his work, and I followed his work, in Entrapment and so on.
Ram Charan was last seen in RRR and Acharya. Next, the actor will be seen doing a cameo in Salman Khan’s upcoming action drama Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Shahnaz Gill and Daggubai Venkatesh apart from Salman and Ram Charan. Apart from this, he has S. Shankar’s Ram Charan 15 and Buchi Babu Sana’s Ram Charan 16 are also there.
