RRR: SS Rajamouli announces multi-city tour with Ram Charan and Jr NTR; View full schedule here

RRR is one of the most awaited movies. While the mega-film will hit the theaters on March 25, SS Rajamouli has now announced a multi-city promotional tour across the country. On Thursday, the makers of the film released an interesting video on social media announcing the start of their tour. From Hyderabad to Bengaluru, Baroda, Delhi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Kolkata and Varanasi to Dubai, the makers have chalked out an elaborate promotional plan wherein they will visit major potential markets in the country to promote the film from March 18 to 22.

For the unversed, RRR is based on the lives of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. These two roles are played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR respectively. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.

Recently, SS Rajamouli spoke about Ram Charan and Jr NTR casting for RRR and mentioned that their acting skills were a perfect fit for the roles. “His stardom, personality and acting abilities made him the perfect fit for the parts. The most important aspect is the camaraderie and friendship that they possess. They knew each other since before RRR. Ramaraju appears calm throughout the flick. RRR has been postponed several times and now it will release in 6,000 theaters on March 25. The film was supposed to hit the big screens on January 7, but was postponed due to a sudden spike in the coronavirus cases. The makers released a statement just two days before the scheduled release and announced the postponement. “Despite our tireless efforts, some situations are beyond our control. Since many Indian states are shutting down cinemas, we are left with no option but to ask you to keep your enthusiasm. While the film will now release on March 25, its Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions will be available on ZEE5. It will also be streamed on Netflix in Hindi, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish.
