Jackson Wang is the ‘biggest fan’ of RRR.
Jackson Wang revealed that he loved RRR and is a huge fan of the Ram Charan-Junior NTR-led film. The statement comes days after the film won the Golden Globe Award.
Team RRR has found another international fan and this time it is from the South Korean music industry. GOT7 member Jackson Wang revealed that he is the ‘biggest fan’ of the Ram Charan and Jr NTR film. The singer revealed this after an audio clip went viral of him expressing his love for the film and telling fans about the story of the film.
In the clip, the Blow hitmaker is heard saying, “It’s a film, it’s about two brothers – a good guy and a bad guy – but they didn’t know they were fighting each other till the end and At this point, they were just being brothers.” The clip was reposted by Team RRR on Twitter with the note, “@JacksonWang852 ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much!! #RRRMovie.”
Jackson replied, “Biggest fan of the movie.” Team RRR returned the love by tweeting, “Lots of love to you.”
RRR recently won the Golden Globe Award and is eyeing the Oscars. The film won the award for Best Original Song, where Carolina from The Crodads Sing, Ciao Papa from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick and Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever won for the award. The film was also nominated for the Best Non-English Language Film award, but lost to Argentina, 1985. ,
While we are rooting Team RRR for the Oscars, we also hope that Jackson gets a chance to meet the team. The singer followed Ram Charan on Instagram last year and we’re seeing that they get to hang out when Jackson arrives India later this month. The singer will perform at Lollapalooza in Mumbai this month.
