Chahal was held back for 2 overs on death by RR against LSG and the move worked as he picked up de Kock and Krunal in the same over.

Explaining the decision, skipper Sanju Samson heaped praise on Chahal, whom he rated as the greatest leg-spinner of all time.

“Chahal is someone who can be bowled anytime in 1-20 overs. He is the greatest leg-spinner, if I can say that India has seen at present. Thought it was his end when the pressure was high. Why not use more,” Samson said.
