IPL 2023 Today Match Live Updates, RR vs LSG: For the first time in this season, Rajasthan Royals will host a team at their home. They have been traveling a lot, having played a few matches at their ‘second home’ in Gwalior, but around three weeks after the start of IPL 2023, they will play at their fixed base of Jaipur. RR have emerged as the team to beat this season, having won four of their five matches with eight points and are at the top of the table. They will host Lucknow Super Giants, who are second in the table with three wins in five attempts.
RR’s campaign has been consistently given a solid start to their team by their opening pair of Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal. However, when both were dismissed early against Chennai Super Kings, skipper Sanju Samson and finisher Shimron Hetmyer stepped up to get them over the line. With two quality spinners in the form of Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal, they have managed to put brakes on the scoring rate in the middle overs while Sandeep Sharma is also making good use of his IPL experience.
LSG has a great line-up. The ability of his team can be gauged from the fact that Quinton de Kock has not got a single match yet. However, the franchise would like to address their batting approach in the middle overs which they must address.
