Inga Swietec created history as she defeated Coco Gauff to win her second French Open title. The match lasted about 1 hour and 8 minutes as Iga defeated Gough 6-1, 6-3. After the win, Swiktec took the mic, applauded his opponent, thanked the crowd and burst into applause.
With this win, Sweetek now holds a 100 percent record in Grand Slam finals, a 35-match winning streak, and a sixth consecutive title to his name.
She was just a teenager when she won her first Roland Garros title two years ago. He now holds the record for the longest win of the century with Venus Williams. Prior to this win, she has won in Doha, Indian Wells, Miami, Stuttgart and Rome.
