Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani Update: Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt Likely To shoot a Special Song In March

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani love story is one of the most awaited films. While fans are eagerly waiting for it, here is some update on the Karan Johar directorial. If the latest reports are to be believed then the makers of RRKPM are planning the last leg of the shoot in March this year.

As per a report in E-Times, the makers of Rocky and Rani’s love story are planning to shoot a special song and a few other scenes in March. While the dates haven’t been finalized yet, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt Will start rehearsals for the song only after the dates are fixed. Karan Johar’s team has started the pre-production work for this shooting schedule and plans to make the song ‘larger than life’ and one of the ‘major highlights’ of the film.

Rocky and Rani’s love story is touted to be a new-age romantic film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, besides Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The film went on floors in August 2021 and multiple shooting schedules were conducted in Mumbai, Delhi and Moscow.

In October last year, Karan Johar had expressed his happiness talking about working with veteran actresses like Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. He also praised the rest of the supporting cast, who are from Kolkata, and said, “The film is an enjoyable film, in my opinion, I hope everyone believes that. I feel very fortunate to have got Ranveer and Apart from Alia, I got to work with Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra. We also have an amazing cast from Kolkata. We have Chuni Ganguly and Tota Roy Chowdhury. I have worked with actresses like Aamir Bashir, Kshitij Jog and Anjali Anand. We have a lot of interesting newcomers and it’s a huge ensemble cast, a family love story.”

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will hit the theaters on April 28 this year.
