Rishabh Pant appointed brand ambassador of Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday announced that Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the state.

The Chief Minister said on Twitter that Pant would encourage the youth towards sports.

“One of the best cricket players of India, idol of youth and son of Uttarakhand, Rishabh Pant has been appointed as the “State Brand Ambassador” by our government, with an aim to encourage the youth of the state towards sports and public health. To do.” Tweeted Dhami in Hindi along with the video.

In the video, CM Dhami can be seen talking to Rishabh and asking about his well being.

The attacking batsman also thanked the Chief Minister for this opportunity and said that he would try his best to motivate people for fitness.

“Thank you @pushkardami sir for giving me the opportunity to be the brand ambassador for promoting sports and general health among the people of Uttarakhand. I will try my best to spread this message and am happy that you are taking these steps towards a healthy India.”

Hailing from a small town in Roorkee, I believe that the people here have the potential to make the country proud in various walks of life, he added.

The 24-year-old Pant, who was rested for the New Zealand Test, is currently in Johannesburg, South Africa as the Indian team is all set to face the Proteas in the three-match Test series starting December 26.
