RIMS: OPD will open from June 23, six months extension to doctors retiring in March 2022

Under this, the benefit of extension of service has been given to the doctors who are going to retire in the month of March 2022. On the other hand, a decision has been taken to restore OPD services from June 23 in RIMS, the state’s largest hospital located in Ranchi.

However, services of all other departments will open in RIMS except neurosurgery and orthopedics departments. With this, only 10 patients will be registered per hour in each department.

Service extension to academic and non-academic doctors
In view of the situation due to corona infection in the state, it was decided on Tuesday to extend the service of six months to the academic and non-educational doctors of the healthcare sector retiring by March 2022. The decision was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren here.

A spokesman of the state government said after the cabinet meeting that the cabinet has approved extension of six months to the academic and non-academic doctors of Jharkhand Health Service retiring by March 2022. Similarly, teachers providing periodic teaching services in state universities have also been given extension till September 30.
