Rhea Chakraborty joins fans to remember Sushant Singh Rajput on his second death anniversary. The actress shared and remembered never-seen-before pictures with the Raabta actor. For those unaware, Rhea and Sushant were dating before her sudden demise. The actress was accused by the family of SSR of abetting the late actor’s suicide and misappropriating their money.
Taking to Instagram, Rhea shared pictures from one of the couple’s trips and some romantic moments when they were dating. In one picture, Riya is seen kissing Sushant and in another, Sushant is holding Riya in her lap.
Sharing the pictures, Riya wrote, ‘Miss you every day…’
Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. He was found dead at his Mumbai home. While the Mumbai Police had termed his death as a case of suicide, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) stepped in to probe his death. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Board (NCB) also joined the investigation looking at the angle related to money laundering and drugs in the case.
Riya spent almost a month in jail. He was granted bail by the Bombay High Court after spending 28 days in jail. Riya was arrested along with her brother Shoik Chakraborty for arranging drugs for the 34-year-old late actor.
Meanwhile, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Keerti also shared a picture of Sushant and wrote an emotional note. “It’s been 2 years since you left your mortal abode, brother, but you’ve been immortalized because of the values you stood for. Kindness, compassion and love for all were your virtues. You wanted to do so much for many. We will continue to emulate your wonderful qualities and ideals in your honor. Brother, you have changed the world for the better and will continue to do so even in your absence,” she wrote.
