RG tax case: High court advised to go on hunger strike, agitators are working

The service of the patients cannot be interrupted in any way. The main objective of the intern is to save lives. During this, the movement can be conducted in a peaceful manner. However, miking cannot be done. Calcutta High Court gave information about RG Kar Medical and Hospital case. Under the same instruction the trainees have promised to return to work from today.

But the protesters called on the High Court to call off the strike, which began with calls for the president to resign. Although he joined the work as per the direction of the High Court, but he is not going away from that demand at all. The trainees said that the hunger strike would continue till the demand was met. Meanwhile, the high court on Monday allowed the intern’s plea and said they would meet state health secretary Narayanswaroop Nigam. He will sit with the agitating interns and doctors on Friday, October 29.

The High Court on Monday heard a PIL on the impasse created by RG in the last three weeks. A division bench of Justice Debangshu Basak and Justice Rabindranath Samant questioned whether more patients were being turned back than those admitted. Are these statistics good for agitating interns? Should work be stopped under pressure?

In response, the protesters acknowledged that the service was being disrupted. But they are not the only ones responsible for the standoff. According to him, even after a long time, there is no restriction from the government. In that context, the High Court said, there is no objection to the peaceful agitation. But the role of interns in saving lives is crucial. In that case, the agitating trainees were asked to go on hunger strike. The protesters, however, said they want to continue the hunger strike. But get involved. The matter will be heard again on November 2.
