Thackeray said that separate orders were issued on Saturday to reduce the timings of bars and liquor shops from 11 pm and 8 pm to 4 pm respectively. “These establishments will not be allowed on weekends,” he said.
The number of guests at wedding functions has been reduced to 50 from the current 100. At funerals, the earlier permission for 50 persons has been revised to 20.
Probably for the first time there has been a ban for marriage ceremonies till 4 pm. Also, this ceremony can be done for only three hours. The authorities have also put a condition to run gyms, salons, spas, beauty and wellness centers without AC till 4 pm.
Allowed to reopen just a week ago, coaching classes will have to be closed again from June 28. Also, schools, colleges, religious places for visitors, political events, swimming pools, water sports etc. will remain closed.

The government on Saturday released weekly TPRs as per RT-PCR tests of all 35 districts of the state. Earlier, the weekly TPR was calculated on the basis of all tests including RT-PCR and rapid antigen tests.
According to government data, 238 persons tested positive from 31,578 RT-PCR tests for a weekly TPR of 0.8 per cent between June 19 and 25 in the district.
The weekly TPR of the district is the seventh lowest in the state. It was 3.86% between May 28 and June 3, and fell to 3.13% between June 4 and 10, and to 1.25% between June 11 and 17.
At 0.2%, Wardha district has the lowest weekly TPR in the state. Chandrapur has weekly TPR of 0.6% and second lowest in Vidarbha.
Gadchiroli (5.9%) and Buldhana (7.5%) are the only two districts in Vidarbha where weekly TPR is more than 5%. All 11 districts are in Level 3 as their weekly TPR is less than 10%.
