Haryana Government has released the notification for implementing the Employment Act, 2020. Now from January 15, 2022, reservation rules in private sector jobs will also be considered effective in the state. After the implementation of the Employment Act, it will be mandatory for private sector companies to give 75 percent reservation to the native youth of Haryana in jobs up to Rs 30,000 a month. This act has been described as very important to achieve the target.

CM Manohar said – Government is with the youth all the time

On the occasion of issuing the notification, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the youth need not worry in any way. The state government is standing with them at all times and is continuously ensuring employment opportunities for them. The present state government had promised to implement reservation in private sector jobs before coming to power. The government fulfilled this promise in a span of just 2 years. This is an unprecedented step and thousands of youth will benefit from it.

JJP’s election issue was to give jobs to local youth

The JJP had made an issue in the assembly elections to give priority to local youth in companies engaged in Haryana. For this, JJP had included in its manifesto to give 75 percent reservation in private sector employment. On the occasion of the issuance of the notification, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that the companies have been given time till January 15 to provide the data of the employees to the government in this regard. The notification could not be issued due to the code of conduct in the by-election, now the notification has been issued after the code of conduct is over.

Let us inform that the government had earlier announced to reserve 75% posts for the residents of Haryana in the private sector. But the companies opposed it. With effect from January 15, 2022, this Act shall be enacted by the employers of private sector companies, societies, trusts, limited liability partnership firms, partnership firms and any person who, for the purpose of manufacturing, carrying on business or rendering any service in Haryana, pays wages, wages or other employs ten or more persons on remuneration, shall apply to them.

It will be mandatory for private companies and trusts etc. to register all their employees getting gross monthly salary or salary more than thirty thousand rupees on the designated portal available on the official website of Labor Department, Haryana. Violation of any provision of this Act is a punishable offence.
