New Delhi: The tableau will be performed for the first time during the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Republic day A parade will be held here on January 26 with the universal message of saying no to drugs, a senior official said on Sunday. The NCB tableau will be accompanied by some of its personnel and two members of its canine squad when it goes down the path of duty.

NCB is the nodal agency for drug law enforcement in India, which comes under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

“As far as I know, a tableau of NCB will be displayed for the first time in the Republic Day parade in Delhi. We are very excited and proud to be a part of it. The message at the top of our tableau is, ‘ Nasha ‘Mukt Bharat’, and a group of people standing in front of it, dressed in various costumes of India and with their arms outstretched, with a banner at the bottom – ‘Together we can do it’,” Deputy Commissioner of NCB said Director General Monica Batra.
