Actress Sheeba Akashdeep gained recognition for her role in the 1992 film Suryavanshi starring alongside Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Throughout her career, she has appeared in several movies such as Sanam Teri Kasam, Pyaar Ka Saaya, Mr Bond, Hum Hain Kamaal Ke, Teesra Kaun, Surakshaa, Ravan Raaj: A True Story, Jeeo Shaan Se, Kaalia, Dum and many more .
Sheeba made her Bollywood debut in the 1991 film Yeh Aag Kab Bujegi. However, after a few film and television appearances, the actress chose to stay away from the public glare for a while.
After a break from her career, she returned to the entertainment industry and ventured into television shows. However, despite working with renowned actors, she faced challenges in achieving significant success on the small screen. Sheeba was last seen in the television serial Haasil (2017-2018).
Sheeba married film producer Akashdeep in 1996. The two met while working together on the sets of a film. Now the couple has two sons. Her actor-director husband Akashdeep starred in the 2016 film Santa Banta and directed his wife in films such as Ghat and Miss 420.
Sooryavanshi is an important milestone in Sheeba’s career. She describes it as one of the most memorable experiences, in which Salman Khan is a wonderful co-star. The actress once said in an interview, “It makes me very happy to see the way he has taken his career forward. I have so many memories from the film and I cannot mention any one.”
While the film Sooryavanshi is the one for which Sheeba is mainly remembered, there is another project in which she has worked with Salman Khan, which not many people know about. Sheeba revealed that he produced a music album titled “Aag Lag Gayee Thi”, in which Salman was featured in a song. The album consisted of eight tracks, including a romantic track which featured both Sheeba and Salman.
On the other hand, Salman Khan is known for films like Sultan, Bodyguard, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. Now, the actor is all set to star in films like Dancing Dad, Beyond the Stars and Angry Young Men.
