Reliance inks pact to invest in Abu Dhabi petrochemical hub – Times of India

New Delhi: Reliance Industries has signed an agreement to invest an undisclosed amount in a petrochemical hub in Abu Dhabi.
The oil-to-telecom conglomerate will be involved in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s Ruwais project, a company statement said.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced today that believe has signed an agreement to join a new world-class chlor-alkali, ethylene dichloride and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) production facility at TA’ZIZ in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi.”
However, it did not give details of investments made.
“The agreement capitalizes on the growing demand for these critical industrial raw materials and leverages the strength of ADNOC and Reliance as global industrial and energy leaders.
“The project will be constructed in the TA’ZIZ Industrial Chemicals Zone, a joint venture between ADNOC and ADQ,” the statement said.
