The audience goes to a cinema hall to watch Shahrukh and Deepika Padukone or Salman Khan And Katrina Kaif who have a huge age difference. So if it can happen in Bollywood then why can’t it happen in television?” Reem told E-Times.
The actress further explained why it was important to cast ‘mature men’ for the show and said, “There are scripts that require male leads to be macho men and everyone knows that girls mature faster than boys. matures and hence this age difference. It happens in both film and television industry. I don’t find it strange as I have grown up watching it in Bollywood. I understand some audience may find it strange but I All I can say here is if it can happen in Bollywood then why can’t it happen in television industry?As far as Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal is concerned, both Karan and Gashmeer are 200 years old in the show so mature men It was necessary to cast as this is the concept of the show.
Earlier, Karan had also talked about his age gap with Reem and said, ‘In my mind I am just 4 years old and if I am going somewhere then it may not matter. I don’t approach our work that way. I do not think so. It all depends on what people think of you.”
Ishq Mein Ghayal premiered last month. Karan Kundrra plays the role of a vampire in the show while Gashmeer is his brother. Both fall in love with the same girl – played by Reem.
