Realme may follow Apple’s Dynamic Island feature for its possible ‘mini capsule’ implementation on the affordable C series smartphones.

It’s no secret that Apple often introduces industry-first features or offers a unique take on existing features, and subsequently, the rest of the industry follows suit. In the past, we have seen Apple introduce the infamous ‘notch’ with the iPhone X in 2017, which was then adopted by Android OEMs. The removal of the charging adapter and in-box earphones also followed.

Now, Realme has taken inspiration from the Dynamic Island feature of the iPhone 14 Pro, which has a pill-shaped cutout enriched with software to display useful information like Uber tracking. Realme may call their implementation a ‘mini capsule’.

Recently, Madhav Seth, VP of Realme, tweeted an image of a dynamic island-esque UI with the hashtag minicapsule, but it was later notably removed. Realme may be planning to introduce Dynamic Island-like implementation on its affordable C series smartphones.

Supporting this is notable tipster @OnLeaks who has said, “Well, today, I can confirm that #Realme will soon unveil its very own Dynamic Island feature…”

In fact, @OnLeaks in collaboration with Smartprix has released an animation of a possible implementation by Realme.

Realme implementing the dynamic island feature will be intriguing, given that most Android OEMs have already transitioned to smaller punch-hole cutouts, and the larger pill-shaped cutouts have mostly been phased out. Meanwhile, Apple is speculated to include Dynamic Island in its entire iPhone 15 series in September this year.
