Rashmika Mandanna has been making headlines for her films and work for a long time now. However, the actress has also been in the news for criticisms for allegedly being ungrateful towards Rishabh Shetty in an interview. Meanwhile, the actress recently talked about social media trolls in an interview. Talking about negativity, the Pushpa actress said that she is an entertainer and her job is to entertain people.

“At the end of the day, we are entertainers. We do films to entertain people. This is the main reason why we got into the creative field. Like you said, it totally depends on how the audience views your work. Also, it’s a little more than that because people are seeing us everywhere, people love us for who we are. This is the beauty of our generation. You do good films, people appreciate you. If you don’t do a good film, people ask what did you do? Our life doesn’t stop at one movie. It’s a journey,” she told Hindustan Times.

She also shared that she has learned to deal with the mental scrutiny that comes with the job. “Ten years ago, there was not such an intense amount of paparazzi and social media. In those days, if people wanted to see stars, they would go to theatres, not their homes. And now, it is not that we ignore this aspect. Because it is a part of today’s scene. We cannot keep it aside; we just have to accept it and move forward,” said the actress.

The actress also said that she is a public figure and she has no control over it when asked about people focusing more on gossip about her personal life rather than her work. He said that people’s love and curiosity towards the actors is what keeps them going. “If people weren’t curious about you, no one would talk about you. People talk because you’re relatable today. So, whether it’s positive or negative, at the end of the day, you talked about me.” ,” He said.

On the work front, Rashmika was recently seen in the film Warisu opposite Vijay. She will next be seen in Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The actress also has Animal in the pipeline with Ranbir Kapoor.
