People across the country love the style and energy brought on stage by actor Ranveer Singh. After her stellar performances on the silver screen, her TV show, The Big Picture has brought her even closer to Indian families. In case you missed the new year special episode of the show, Colors TV had shared a few sneak peeks on its Instagram handle, wherein Ranveer got emotional while hosting his idol Govinda. The clip posted by the channel shows Ranveer crying when he met Govinda while the latter was constantly trying to pacify him.
Calling Govinda on stage, Ranveer described him as his ‘god’ and only ‘hero number one’. Soon after, a video surfaced in which Ranveer was seen pressing his face into his palms as he got emotional watching the veteran actor on his show. Ranveer was also lying on Govinda’s feet, holding him tightly and when the latter tried to lift him, he behaved like a child who was adamant to be there. Govinda was overwhelmed with all the love and attention not only from the audience but also from the actor.
Ranveer has worked with Govinda in the film Kill Dil, which also starred Parineeti Chopra. Ranveer never shies away from expressing his love for the actor and how much he loves and adore him. In a clip from the promo, Ranveer revealed that he learned rap not during his film Gully Boy, but from Govinda’s song Stop That From Gambler. Well, the actor rapped on stage too, and Govinda was totally impressed with Ranveer’s talent.
It is rare that Govinda is on stage and you do not get to see him dancing. The veteran actor has given the industry many hook steps and his moves are just right. Ranveer and Govinda were seen shaking a leg on the original version of Ishq Hai Suhana, UP Wala Thumka, Aa Aa Ee Mera Dil Na Todo, and more. Ranveer also did some iconic dialogues from the veteran actor.
