Ranveer Singh unveils Jayeshbhai Jordaar as ‘no specific bigger than life hero’, reveals release date

Ranveer Singh is starring in Yash Raj Films’ Jayeshbhai Jordaar and produced by Maneesh Sharma, a big screen entertainer that will introduce a new brand of heroism and heroism that is rare in Indian cinema through the lead protagonist Jayeshbhai. The much awaited film is releasing on 13th May, 2022 and Ranveer is looking forward to the audience of all age groups to watch this film as he thinks Jayeshbhai Jordar will touch everyone’s heart with his inspiring story. YRF today released an innovative date announcement video in which Ranveer stresses that he is glad that a new kind of never-seen-before hero will be on the big screen.

The actor describes what people can expect from Jayeshbhai’s character. He says, “Jayesh is no bigger than your ordinary life hero but what he does during the course of the story is heroic. And that’s what I was attracted to. He develops into a hero and everything he pulls off is remarkable and really super. He’s a very unconventional type of superhero.”

Padmaavat actor Jayeshbhai is all praise for vigorous director Divyang Thakkar, which he feels is one of the most beloved films in the history of Indian cinema. Ranveer says, “My mentor Adi Chopra called me one day and he said ‘I have got a wondrous script and I would like you to hear it’ and I went for narration. Divyang Thakkar, who has never directed anything before , gave me a narration in which I was laughing with my tears and laughing, laughing and crying at the same time. He says, “I had agreed on the spot to be a part of this film. The heart of this film is writer-director Divyang Thakkar and he is a bundle of pure love and joy and his goodness of heart, kind, humble. Ranveer is said to be a shape-shifter, a master chameleon who transforms every time he appears on screen and undergoes metamorphosis to become Jayeshbhai again. He says, “Jayesh is a character that I have never tried before and so it was completely new and new which was a very exciting prospect for me. I really had to create something because this type of characterization and this type of emotional beat, I haven’t played before. I saw the possibility of creating something unique and original for myself and as an artist, it has been a very satisfying process.”

He further added, “I really make it a point to continue the pattern of surprising the audience and Jayeshbhai gave me an opportunity to do something which I have never done before and after portraying Kapil Dev, I There seems to be something very different and totally different on offer from me as an artist and I was happy that this opportunity came along.”
