Ranbir Kapoor saves Vaani Kapoor from injury, keeps her close while dealing with the crowd; watch

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor came to the rescue of his Shamshera co-star Vaani Kapoor when a crowd surrounded the actors outside the sets of Dance Deewane Junior. The actor arrived on the sets of the dance reality show on Wednesday to promote his upcoming film Shamshera. She is going to be seen in the finale of the dance show.

In a video shared on Instagram by a paparazzo, Ranbir and Vaani were seen exiting the sets of the reality show. The huge crowd not only separated Vaani and Ranbir, but a fan was almost seen hurting Vaani when she was trying to take a selfie with Ranbir. Luckily, Ranbir spotted Vaani and managed to save her from a causal act. Thereafter, Ranbir did not let Vaani go, making sure that they left the venue safely.

Vaani and Ranbir joined Neetu Kapoor in the finale of Dance Deewane Junior. The episode is being shot in Mumbai on Wednesday, with Karan Kundrra and Tejashwi Prakash handling the hosting duties. For the appearance, the actress was seen wearing a peach sheer corset top which she teamed up with a pair of pants. Vaani looked gorgeous as she posed in front of the cameras with her hair tied in a half ponytail. Meanwhile, Ranbir stunned in a traditional black ensemble.

Shamshera is slated to hit the theaters on July 22. Ranbir plays a double role in the film, while Vaani plays the girlfriend of his younger version. Sanjay Dutt is in negative shade in the film. Shamshera is Vaani and Ranbir’s first film together. This is also Ranbir’s first film in four years. The actor was last seen in 2018’s Sanju.

Apart from Shamshera, Ranbir is also busy in Brahmastra. The film stars Alia Bhatt with Ranbir. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in important roles. Shahrukh Khan also has a cameo in the film. The film is scheduled to release in September.
