Rashmika Mandanna Vijay Deverakonda dating? Ranbir Kapoor seems to have confirmed that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are dating. The actor appeared on Unstoppable with NBK with Rashmika to promote their upcoming film Animal with Sandeep Reddy Vanga when Ranbir shared a never-before-known scoop about Rashmika and Vijay. The actor not only revealed that Vijay introduced Sandeep at a Arjun Reddy post release party but also hinted that Rashmika has a special nickname for Vijay.
The conversation about Vijay came up when Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna asked Sandeep and Rashmika to pick one movie between Arjun Reddy and Animal. Ranbir asked Rashmika to pick who she believes is a better actor — her ‘reel hero’ (hinting at himself) or her ‘real hero’ (hinting at Vijay). When Rashmika refused to participate, Nandamuri asked Sandeep to dial Vijay’s number. “Sir, let Rashmika call, Vijay won’t pick (Sandeep’s) call,” Ranbir teased, leaving Rashmika blushing.
Ranbir asked for Rashmika’s phone and asked her to call him. “Don’t show the phone what the name is huh,” Ranbir teased her, forcing Rashmika to change the contact name. Vijay did not pick Rashmika’s call either. He eventually called Sandeep back. After greetings were exchanged, the phone was handed to Rashmika. “What’s up, re?” Vijay asked Rashmika, leaving Ranbir teasing her. Rashmika warned Vijay that he is on speaker. Balakrishna and Ranbir asked Vijay who does he love and the Telugu actor named Sandeep Reddy Vanga, leaving everyone in splits.
The team then asked Rashmika to pick between Ranbir’s Animal poster and Vijay’s Arjun Reddy poster. Rashmika tried to be diplomatic and said, “I have a connection with Arjun Reddy of its release so I have a connection with Arjun Reddy and Animal is my film, I like both of them.” When Ranbir and Balakrishna asked her what is the connection, Rashmika blushed.
She then revealed that Arjun Reddy was the first film she watched when she moved to Hyderabad. It was then that Ranbir revealed a ‘coincindence story’ involving Vijay Deverakonda. Ranbir revealed, “Sandeep met Rashmika for the first time at Arjun Reddy’s success party on Vijay’s terrace.” This left Rashmika speechless before she asked Ranbir who is giving him all the information. “It’s not necessary to give all this information,” Rashmika said.
