New Delhi: Apart from Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif’s wedding, the most talked about wedding in Tinsel Town is that of Ranbir and Alia. Ever since Ranbir Kapoor started dating Alia Bhatt, the fans of the couple have been eagerly waiting for them to tie the knot. Earlier there were speculations that they will tie the knot by the end of this year, but now according to a latest report, Ranbir-Alia have postponed their marriage by a year.
According to a report in BollywoodLife, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have postponed their plans to get married by almost a year. The report further states that the reason for postponing their wedding is their tight schedule and also due to the fact that they are planning a destination wedding and it will reportedly take time.
BollywoodLife reports, “First of all, they have chock-a-block shoot schedules for their respective films. December is now near and next year everything will be in full-on action mode. Secondly, both plan the destination wedding outside India and hence, the arrangement and preparation will take some time. They will also go on long breaks before and after marriage.”
“The third and one of the most important reasons is probably his film Brahmastra. The film’s team, as well as Ranbir and Alia, wanted the film to release before officially becoming a man and wife. And now, with the film slated to release in September 2022, a wedding may be possible late next year or early 2023”, further read the report in BollywoodLife.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are often seen visiting their under-construction house in Mumbai. The couple will reportedly move into their new home once they become husband and wife.
