Vyoham is reportedly set to delve into the contemporary political struggles and battles in Andhra Pradesh.

Ram Gopal Varma is a name synonymous with works like Rangeela, Prem Katha and Bhoot. His filmmaking style has left quite a mark on the minds of the audience who have appreciated his bold way of storytelling. However, the director has often grabbed headlines for his sensational films and often controversial statements. Currently, he is in limelight after announcing the name of his upcoming political work titled Vyuham.

In a series of tweets, he shared some glimpses of the political drama and also revealed some of the key characters and the actors portraying them. In a tweet, he revealed, “Some idiots are thinking that Vyomam film is about YS Bharathi. The film is about how evil forces came together to take advantage of the tragic situation after the sudden death of YSR. Being YS Jagan’s wife is definitely important but it is not her story.”

The film is reportedly set to highlight the contemporary political struggles and battles in Andhra Pradesh regarding the current Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. While the filmmaker hasn’t revealed specific details about Vyoham, he has revealed that Jagan Mohan Reddy will be essayed by actor Ajmal Ameer in the film. Meanwhile, Manasa Radhakrishnan, who is known for her performance in Vikadakumaran, will play his wife YS Bharathi.

Ram Gopal Varma is known for his work in multiple industries like Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. He has directed in a variety of genres, including parallel films, docudramas and horror films. He has worked in lead roles on several projects such as Satya starring JD Chakraborty, Manoj Bajpayee and Urmila Matondkar. He also directed the Amitabh Bachchan-led Sarkar and Nishabd. His last film was Dangerous which released in 2022 and starred Naina Ganguly, Rajpal Naurang Yadav and Mithun Purandare.
