Ram Charan reveals why he didn’t do any Hindi film

Actor Ram Charan, who will next be seen in the magnum-opus RRR, made his Hindi debut with the 2013 film ‘Zanjeer’. the film was a remake Amitabh BachchanThe 1973 classic film of the same name. Now, speaking about not doing Hindi films, Ram Charan said choosing the right film is ‘extremely important’ and ‘when the opportunity comes’ he will do any film.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Ram Charan said, “It’s all about instinct and it’s not like I don’t… I watch a lot of your movies and love them. But, maybe, it’s not now. It happened with RRR. With Taarak (Jr. NTR) and SS Rajamouli. We are ready to do Indian films.”

“RRR is a Hindi film as it is a Telugu film, it is a pan-India film. Today, thanks to the efforts of a lot of filmmakers, especially Rajamouli, the doors of this industry have opened up. We have stopped being regional. Diya and we have become a part of a big Indian film industry, barriers have been broken. So, whenever the opportunity comes, why not, I will do any film. The scale of RRR, and how many languages ​​the film will release in all odds. Will break. It’s about enthusiasm.”

He further added, “Choosing the right film is of paramount importance. We should feel the excitement of doing a film, be it as big as RRR or any other story.”

Meanwhile, his upcoming ‘RRR’, helmed by filmmaker SS Rajamouli, features Telugu star Jr NTR along with Bollywood actors in Ram Charan. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan. Set in the 1920s, RRR takes inspiration from the lives of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. While Ram Charan will be seen in the role of Sitaram, Jr NTR has essayed the role of Komaram in RRR, one of the most awaited films, which was earlier scheduled to release on January 7.
