it appears that Rajkummar Rao & Bhumi Pednekar is all set to share the screen again and she has dropped some major hints on her social media handles. Both worked for the first time in ‘Badhaai Do’ and proved to be a powerhouse authentic performance. Both Rajkummar and Bhumi have uploaded black and white pictures on their Instagram handles, possibly hinting towards a new film. Monochromic photos took the Internet back to the black-and-white era.
However, their captions definitely hint at the drama of the split. Rajkumar captioned his picture, ‘Revealing the untold story of Partition. Stay tuned… #BlackAndWhite.”
Bhumi, on the other hand, also uploaded the black and white pictures on her Instagram and captioned it as, “A story of partition that made many strangers in their own land. Stay tuned… #BlackAndWhite”
The setting of both the paintings appears to be set in the backdrop of the time of partition of 1947. These black and white pictures have taken the internet by storm and everyone is curious to know what it is about. A user commented, ‘Fantastic’. Another user wrote, “plz tell me is this a movie or a series plzzzzzz (sic)”. A user predicted the project and wrote, “Sir aapki film mobi ka ishara hai na.” “Watching a film about Partition is not just entertainment, it is an opportunity to learn and reflect on our shared history”, commented another.
Except for this unnamed project. Both the veteran actors will be seen in a film titled ‘Bheed’. It is directed by Anubhav Sinha, who has earlier made films like Many, Thappad and Article 15. He is also jointly producing the film with Bhushan Kumar. While Rajkummar Rao was last seen in ‘Hit: The First Case’, Bhumi was seen opposite Vicky Kaushal in ‘Govinda Naam Mera’.
