Rajkot: If you are worried about vaccine then call us, Congress tells people. Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: The city unit of Congress has created public phone numbers for people to report harassment by police to owners of commercial establishments and daily wage workers over the state government’s mandatory vaccine rule.
The government had set June 30 as the deadline for traders, vegetable vendors and other ‘super spreaders’ to either ban it or shut down business.
Addressing the reporters, Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) Vice President Dr Hemang Vasavada said, “The government has failed to vaccinate maximum population. We will not tolerate harassment of traders and daily wage laborers for the failure of the state.”
However, the Kovid Core Committee on Wednesday decided to extend the vaccination deadline for commercial establishment owners and employees till July 10. For the past few days, there is a huge shortage of vaccine in many cities of Gujarat.
Rajkot Covishield was facing shortage, but on Wednesday the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) took stock. However, RMC Due to non-availability of adequate dosage the session venues had to be reduced from 62 to 32 and it has also postponed the planned vaccination camps organized by various industrial associations and social organisations.
Dr. Vasavada also asked the government for a list detailing the number of planned vaccination campaigns that had to be postponed for jabs.
Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in RMC Bhanu Sorani will organize an online Lok Darbar after complaints against civic services flooded the Congress dashboard in the last two weeks. She will hold Lok Darbar every Thursday in July and the Congress has made the timing, username and password public on its social media platforms.
