Superstar Rajinikanth has been granted UAE’s golden visa by their Department of Culture and Tourism. The veteran actor took to social media to share this feat and thank the Abu Dhabi government and MA Yusuff Ali, chairman and managing director of Lulu Group for their efforts.
Rajinikanth said in a now-viral video, “I am deeply honoured to receive the prestigious UAE Golden visa from the Abu Dhabi government. My heartfelt thanks to the Abu Dhabi government, and also to my good friend Mr Yusuff Ali, CMD of Lulu Group, for facilitating this visa and for all the support.”

During his stay in UAE recently, the actor met MA Yusuff Ali, the chairman and managing director of Lulu Group and its other top executives. The superstar and the businessman shared a ride in a Roll Royce. Fans are speculating about a potential collaboration of the superstar with the Lulu Group owner.
Meanwhile, on the work front, superstar Rajinikanth recently completed the shooting of his upcoming film Vettaiyan. It is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel. Produced under the Lyca Production, the film stars the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan in the prominent roles. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Earlier this month, Rajinikanth and Amitabh were seen filming a few scenes together. Taking to his Instagram handle, Amitabh Bachchan shared photos of the two together and wrote, “Am honoured and privileged to be with the Thala the Great Rajni again .. he hasn’t changed at all .. the same simple humble down to earth friend despite his stratospheric greatness !!!”
Earlier, Lycra Production house shared the photos on their X handle and wrote, “The Titans of Indian Cinema! Superstar @rajinikanth and Shahenshah @SrBachchan grace the sets of Vettaiyan in Mumbai, with their unmatched charisma.” In the photos, we can see Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth striking a pose in stylish black formals. They are even hugging and talking something serious. As soon as the photos were shared, fans reacted. Many dropped heart emojis in the comment section.
