Jaipur: Two persons were killed and 30 others were injured when a videocoach private bus going from Suratgarh to Kanpur in Jhunjhunu’s Jhunjhunu overturned near Bhainsawata village under Singhana police station area of Jhunjhunu in the early hours of Thursday. A child and a woman were among the dead.

“The incident happened at 2.25 am when the driver of the bus lost control of the wheels while overspeeding, causing the bus to overturn. Around 50 passengers were on the bus, out of which 30 were injured and two died.
Police took all the injured to the police station where first aid was given. Apart from this, the police also arranged for their breakfast and lunch.
“We took them to the police station and let them rest. In the morning we arranged for their breakfast and later for lunch. We also arranged taxis for those who did not have money, so that they could return to their villages. We arranged two ambulances for the bodies, which were to be sent to Kanpur,” said Ram.
