Kishan Lal, who sells Laxmi-Ganesh cakes, batashes and stickers, said sales are slowly picking up. Kishan Lal said, “After more than a year, people are stepping out of their homes to shop. I sell all Pooja products and my regular customers have started coming.”
Jaipur Vyapar Mandal President Subhash Goyal said that he expects good tourism in the city after Diwali.
“Almost all hotels are booked and if the number of tourists increases, so will the sales. Hawa Mahal, Johri Market and Bapu Market are dependent on tourism revenue.”
